NetherRealm is now focusing on its next project and after more than two years of supporting Mortal Kombat 11, DLC for the game, including characters, has come to an end. The sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us (2013) joined the ranks of popular fighting games in 2017 and its developer NetherRealm Studios has been steadily updating the game over the past few years. As such, there’s no release date in sight - we don’t even know if Injustice 3 is in development. Injustice 2 let DC Comics fans choose from a roster of nearly 40 iconic heroes and villains to battle their friends with. In fact, NetherRealm hasn’t mentioned anything about starting work on a new game in the series. For now, there’s no word on when Injustice 3 is coming out.
